Dr. Banoub

Since my early days, I have realized the importance of science and developed a passion for animals. My father has inspired me to pursue a more professional and effective way to make a difference in animals’ lives. After graduating in 2002 from Vet School, I practiced for a few years in a mixed practice between Small Animals and farm animals.

I moved to Canada, first to Montreal, where it feels like you are living in Europe. I loved the old city and all the monuments. So I speak a little French too, Je parle un Peu Francais, but the winter gets really cold.

Next I moved to Vancouver, British Columbia where I have spent most of my time in Canada. I practiced with large animals and small animals as well, in BC. I have fallen in love with nature, I have loved the rain and enjoyed hiking. Grouse Mountain hike is one of the best and should be on your bucket list for sure.

I then moved to the USA in 2018 where I lived in Reno, Nevada where I worked for a while in an Emergency Veterinary Hospital but then later in Banfield Pet Hospital in general practice. Tahoe and Pyramid Lakes are some of my favorite destinations, where I have spent most of my summers and winters too.

Joining the Veterinary Medical Center as Medical Director has been extremely exciting. I am so proud to be part of the team where we offer the best medical quality and comprehensive care for all our patients where we collaborate closely with the pet parents in empathy and compassion.

I guess I have a lot to explore around here, so you will probably find me around, on a trail to a hidden lake with my wife, little daughter and son.
